Adjunct Instructors in California’s Community College system continue to fight for justice. On average, an adjunct instructor in the CCC system will make, on the hour, from only 35 to 55 cents on the dollar, compared to a full-time colleague with similar levels of experience and education.
Because of the extreme pay disparity, many adjunct instructors who are working full-time hours are on government assistance.
I have composed a White Paper documenting the pay disparity that exists and proposing some correctives.
